Megan received her PhD from UCLA ancient Jewish history and religion. She has been interested in the Hebrew language since she was young and hasn't stopped since. Before her PhD program, she received her M.A in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures and her B.A. in Jewish Studies. She is proficient in both biblical and modern Hebrew, as well as various Aramaic dialects including Syriac.

Her teaching philosophy is informed by years as a student of language and takes a holistic approach to integrating reading skills, grammar, and comprehension.

Megan currently lives in northern Spain and enjoys teaching, traveling, and buying books with her spouse, Taylor.
